Issue: It is Farz to wear enough clothes which make one look like “Every part of the body should be covered. and protect one from the discomfort of heat and cold. And more than that which makes one look beautiful and since Allah has given it, it is Mustahab to express His blessings. It is Mubaah to wear fine clothes on special occasions, for example on Eid or Friday. Do not wear such clothes every day because it is possible that one starts showing off and looks down upon the poor who do not have such clothes. Therefore, this should be avoided. The clothes worn as arrogance are forbidden. Whether it is arrogance or not should be identified in this way that the condition which one used to find before wearing those clothes, if the condition is the same even after wearing them, then it means that arrogance has not arisen from these clothes. If that condition does not remain now, then arrogance has come. Therefore, avoid such clothes because arrogance is a bad quality.
What kind of clothes should be there?

Which are according to Sunnah, neither of very high quality nor very low quality, but of a balanced type, so that just like wearing very high quality clothes shows off, wearing very low quality clothes also shows off, people’s eyes are raised and they think that this is a great and modern person. White clothes are better because it has been praised in Hadith and black clothes are also better because when Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam arrived in Makkah on the day of the conquest of Makkah, there was a black turban on his head. Green clothes have been written as Sunnah in some books.
How long should be the sleeves of a kurta and how long should be the daaman?
Issue: The Sunnah is that the length of the daaman should be up to half the calf, and
the length of the asteen should be up to the tips of the fingers at the most and the width should be one cubit. In this era, many Muslims have started wearing underpants instead of pyjamas. It is haram that the knees being open and the asteen of many people’s kurtas are above the elbows, this is also against the Sunnah and both these clothes are worn in imitation of Christians. This thing has further increased their profanity. May Allah open the eyes of Muslims so that they avoid imitation of the infidels and their actions. Hazrat Amirul Momineen Farooq-e-Azam (RA) has said that he had sent it for his army in which most of the Hazrat Sahaba Kiram were there, Muslims should keep it in mind and try to implement it and that saying is this: Iyyakum Wajial-e-Azam, beware of the disguise of Ajamis, do not assume the form of a person like them.
Issues of silk clothes:
Issue: Silk clothes are haraam for men. Whether there is any other cloth between the body and the clothes or not, they are haraam in both cases. And even during war, pure silk clothes are haraam. Yes, if the warp is cotton and the weft is silk, then it is permissible to wear them during war. And if the warp is silk and the weft is cotton, then it is permissible for every person on every occasion. Both Mujahid and non-Mujahid can wear them. On the occasion of war, wearing a cloth whose weft is silk is permissible when the cloth is thick. And if it is thin, then it is impermissible because the benefit that was expected from it will not be achieved in this case.
Issue: If the warp is silk and the weft is cotton, but the cloth is made in such a way that only silk is visible, then wearing it is makruh. Some types of velvet are such that their threads are silk. The same ruling applies to wearing it. Its cap and sadri etc. should not be worn.
Maslaha: Sitting, lying and using silk as a pillow is prohibited, although wearing it is more harmful than wearing it. However, it is stated in Durr-e-Mukhtaar that it is against the rules and it is obvious that it is permissible.
Maslaha: It is permissible for women to wear silk, even if it is pure silk and there is no trace of cotton in it.
Issue: Silk embroidery in men’s clothes is permissible only up to four inches.
More than that is impermissible, i.e. its width should be up to four inches, not counting its length. Similarly, if the border of the cloth is made of silk, as some turban or bedsheets or tahbands have such borders, the ruling for this is also the same that if the border is up to four inches, it is permissible otherwise not. i.e., provided that the border is also made of silk and if it is made of yarn, then it is permissible only up to four inches. If the pallu of the turban or bedsheet is made of silk, then since it is impermissible to have silk weaving, therefore, this pallu should also be up to four inches and not more.
How much silk can a man use?
Masla: If there is silk work on the edge of the waistband or waistband or daaman,
then it should be up to four inches only. If the sadri or jubba is made of silk, then up to four inches is permissible and silk buttons are also permissible. The turban of the cap is also permissible up to four inches. The nafa of the pyjama is also permissible up to four inches. In achkan or jubba, silk paan or kiri on the shoulders and back are permissible up to four inches. This ruling is applicable when the paan etc. are hidden so that the cloth is not visible. And if they are not hidden, then even more than four inches is permissible.
